Prof Wang's paper was just accepted by Nanophotonics （IF: 7.5）! In this paper, Wang and his colleagues proposed a new mechanism of metal photoluminescence from plasmonic nanoparticles. They used a new characterization method: chromatic properties to determine whether the nanoparticles are undergoing thermal damages and to detect the temperature of nanoparticles in real time.
